Trying to make myself smarter

A couple of days ago, my friend Julio a.k.t.m.a. (also known to me as) JuLopez, shared with me this link:

http://time.com/4040589/smart-daily-habits/

After reading those tips I realized that I was already doing some of those points and decided to do the others, so I started doing my "To Do", "I Did" and "Stop Doing" lists.  I started watching science series too in Netflix:

  • The Inexplicable Universe, by Neil deGrasse Tyson (Available only in Netflix U.S.)
  • TED Talks: Life Hack (Available in Netflix Mex)
  • TED Talks: Life Hack 2 (Available in Netflix Mex)

I added to my podcast list:

I recommend them all (the Netflix series and the podcasts)

So... I've learned a lot of different stuff these days:

Did you know powerful leaders tend to have higher levels of testosterone and lower levels of cortisol?
Did you know that power posing can increase your testosreone levels and decrease your cortisol levels in just two minutes per day?

Higher levels of testosterone (in both men and women) lead to increased feelings of confidence. Meanwhile, lower levels of cortisol lead to decreased anxiety and an improved ability to deal with stress.

You need only two minutes of power posing to increase your testosterone levels each day and give your brain a boost to become an alpha and reduce your cortisol levels.

What's power posing? well you can view the number one chapter of "TED Talks: Life Hacks 1 " (only 20 minutes) or you can read this article: http://jamesclear.com/body-language-how-to-be-confident

I recommend the TED talk. That's all for today.

BTW I am writing this in english to practice my grammar so if I have misspellings, sorry I'm not sorry.
